I'm going to *try* to keep the blog train rolling and share more recent sessions, but I can't make any promises! I do have a sweet fall family session to share today though :)

Camille's session just so happened to be on one of the prettiest fall days! We couldn't have asked for a better day- gorgeous light, colorful leaves, pleasant weather- so we had no choice but to have an awesome shoot and we did just that!

Back in 2011, Brandi was one of my very first clients :) And we did a sweet mommy and me session ♥

Fast-forward 5 years, and this is them today!

Good Wednesday evening to you! It's been just about a clean month since my last post so I'm way overdue for sharing a few sessions with you :)

First up is a sweet mother-daughter session!

I first worked with Natalie last spring to update her headshots as she was having her website redesigned:

And we had a great time together :) So when she reached out to schedule a mini session with her daughter, I was so excited!

Carmen and Natalie have the sweetest relationship and it was a true pleasure to document 💛

2017 Travel Date Announcements | News & Updates

DFinney Mentoring is back on the road!

Limited travel will resume in 2017 and the following dates have been scheduled:

Dallas, TX
April 14: Group Session 101

Washington, DC
April 29: Group Session 101

Atlanta, GA
May 19: Group Session 101
May 21: Mini Photo Sessions

Brooklyn, NY
June 2: One-on-One Session 102
June 3: Mini Photo Sessions

Charlotte, NC
July 21: Group Session 101
July 22: One-on-One Session 102

Since I will be streamlining my travel this year, if I will be traveling to one city, I won't be visiting nearby major cities. So if you are located in Nashville, Birmingham, New Orleans, Jacksonville, etc... you will want to look at the Atlanta dates if you're interested in working together. Located in Houston, Little Rock, or Oklahoma City? You will want to look at the Dallas dates. And for those in Boston or Philly, the Brooklyn dates. This is of course if you don't mind traveling to DC because I'm always open to working with you guys here at home!

Note: This is not to say that I will not be willing to add additional cities later in the year (possibly LA and Chicago), but to do so, I will need to hear from you :)

Just stopping in with a quick announcement:

My makeup artist Denyelle is holding a makeup seminar this weekend! 

If you've had your makeup done by Denyelle for a photo session with me OR if you've admired the client makeup in my photos and and were curious how to recreate the look(s) on your own, this is the perfect opportunity for you :)

Denni will be holding a small class this weekend in Silver Spring, MD where you can learn how to craft your perfect everyday makeup look!
