Happy Monday beautiful people!

I have been on an unplanned haitus from the blog this month, as it ended up being way busier than anticipated! But I’m back with loads of newness to share :)

So since it’s Monday, let’s make it a Mentor Monday post :) I have so many recaps to share with you guys because this year kicked off way more teaching than ever!

This session from February in Atlanta was my first group session of 2015 and I had SUCH a great time with all of these ladies! Here are a few snaps from our
day together :)

Happy Maternity Monday!

I’m super happy to share these photos with you guys today :) Last month while I was in Atlanta, I got with Mae (better known as Natural Chica) for a maternity session and it was absolutely wonderful!

It was great to link back up after our first shoot together back in 2013 and the weather was perfect! Which is definitely noteworthy because just prior it was freezing cold for a quite a few days, but we had beautiful temps for the day AND gorgeous LIGHT! The evening light was amazing :)

I’m so happy I was able to get with Mae to capture this beautiful time in their lives! Congratulations again and I look forward to the arrival of their new bundle of joy :)

Happy Friday loves!

According to weather forecasters, we just need to make it through this oneeee last frigid day and temperatures are making a turn upward towards Spring! Which is certainly awesome news because it is FAH-REEZING outside currently lol.

Today though? I wanted to share one more person with you who helped make the relaunch possible earlier this week :) Our lovely model Aliana!

Aliana is an artist (who will soon be featured on the blog’s artist spotlight!) but I couldn’t wait until then to introduce you to her :) She is sweet and funky and fierce, and amazingly talented! I’m so glad she was able to participate and I had a blast working with her :)

Happy snowy Thursday!

Most schools and some business have closed today in the DC area because of this snow, so hopefully you can either enjoy the snow if that’s your thing, or simply enjoy the relaxation of a day off :) I would enjoy the relaxation, but there’s always work to do around these parts lol. I do enjoy watching the snow fall though :)

…The word ‘enjoy’ was in those last sentences way too many times, but I’m too lazy to think of another word to replace a few of those instances so let’s move on lol.

Today I have a sweet mini headshot session I did while I was in Atlanta for Kia! The lovely designer who helped me customize my new site!

This session was the definition of short and sweet! She wanted to keep things simple and neutral and I think we did a great job of bringing that idea to life. And now Kia has some lovely new headshots for her brand :)

Those who signed up for our mailing list got exclusive access to book beginning Monday- a full 2 days before anyone else- and as a result, ALL of the original dates were booked in one day! This is the first time this has ever happened and I can hardly believe it! Sooo super thankful to you guys for being so amazing ♥

Since the original dates on Saturday April 25 and Sunday April 26 are booked, I’ve added another day the same weekend- Friday, April 24 so there are now 4 remaining slots available.

Mini Sessions are $275 and include the following:

• Pre-consult to ensure your photo session will be just what you want!
• Professional makeup application for 1
• 30 min photo session for up to 4 people
• 1 outfit
• Custom editing of the best 10-15 images selected by the photographer
• 1 mounted 5x7 print
• Private digital proof gallery for ordering

All prints and digital negatives are sold a la carte.

To make sure everyone looks as fabulous as can be- makeup will be included in the session fee! That way you save a bit because it would be an additional $30 if you paid for makeup separately. You can expect the same flawless look for your photos that you see on my site because you’ll be working with my favorite makeup artists :)
