Monday Memories: Jeremy & Vanessa | Washington, DC Engagement Photographer

Happy Monday everyone!

I’ve been a bit MIA this past week- and will be for the most part this week as well, because I am busy busy working on 2 exciting projects coming up- and I can’t wait to share them with you guys :)

In the meantime, I want to leave you with a bit of a throwback session. I looked at the date and it just happened to be 2 years to the day that I shot Jeremy & Vanessa’s engagement session!

I grew up with Jeremy and when he got in touch for engagement photos, I was thrilled! As soon as I met his beautiful fiance Vanessa (and now wife of almost 2 years!) I knew their session was going to be a lot of fun. They were naturals in front of the camera and their session turned out great- definitely one of my favorite engagement sessions to date!

I Love These Folks | Bowie, MD Family & Child Photographer

About a month ago (sheesh, it’s been that long already?!) I got my sisters together because I wanted up-to-date photos of my nieces & nephew! I was so happy we finally got together- the kids were cooperative, the weather was nice, and it was a great day for pictures… except for the fact that we are generally a late family lol. By the time we got out to the field, we had about an hour of daylight left, but we made it work!

June Photo A Day Project!

In between client sessions and everyday life, I like to do a photo project every now and then. This month I’m participating in Fat Mum Slim’s ongoing photo project. She’s been doing these every month since the beginning of the year! I did it for February since it was a short month with a combination of my phone + my real camera, but this month I’m challenging myself to stick with it using just my phone + ipad. Having instagram makes it a bit more interesting so I’m enjoying it way more this time around :)

Brent & Unique | Alexandria, VA Engagement Photographer

I met with Brent & Unique on a beautiful Sunday evening about a week ago… I was so excited to finally take their engagement photos! We had to reschedule about a month ago due to sickness, and we couldn’t have picked a better day to shoot! The light was gorgeous and their love shined bright :)

Just 39 days and counting until their big day… and I’m looking forward to photographing their beautiful summer wedding!
